FAQs

Q. What is environmentally friendly (FSC) accredited paper?

A. FSC accredited paper is supported by the Forestry Stewardship Council and has gone through many processes to be approved to this standard.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is founded on inclusive and shared responsibility for setting high social, environmental and economic standards for forest management.

From forester to printer, we all have a responsibility to protect and sustain the natural environment and the power to influence the way in which our forests are managed and our paper-based products are supplied.

The Chain of Custody schemes, such as FSC, are unique monitoring and tracking systems which follow wood-based products, including paper, from responsibly managed woodlands and controlled wood sources around the world through the supply chain to the end-user.

By using this paper we are demonstrating our responsibility to the environment and will align with Corporate Social Responsibility policies so important to businesses worldwide.

Q. How do Charities Benefit?

A. Charityprintshop.com is committed to donating 50% of the profit from all orders to nominated Charities. The business has been developed specifically for this purpose.

Charities are the first to suffer during a recession and the last to recover. However, with the help of Charityprintshop.com you can help at no extra cost to your business; in fact with our prices for quality products you may also save money.

The Charity should ideally be set up on our site with their own web page, through which they can raise awareness, tell everyone all about the work that they do and how we can all help them raise funds. This will also be linked into their own website.

However, if the Charity you have in mind is not already a part of our website, please see 'How can I nominate a charity?'.

Q. How can I nominate a Charity?

A. If the charity you support is not already affiliated to Charityprintshop.com you can get in touch to let us know about them.

From our home page or Charity Zone you can select Add a Charity and complete the details.

We will contact the charity and invite them to join our website.

Please then continue with the order process and we will ensure that your nominated charity wil benefit from your donation.

Q. What are the expected delivery timescales?

A. Your order will be picked up and dealt with within one working day and delivery timescales are generally expected to be within 7 - 10 days

A. Please contact us and speak to our Charity Support Manager

ARTWORK GUIDE

Process Colour
Artwork supplied should be based in CMYK unless a spot/pantone colour is also specified. We are well equipped to run five-colour work if required. It is essential that black text is generated using only the black plate.

Printing Resolutions
When scanning images for print, please ensure that they have a resolution of at least 300dpi

Supplying Files
For best results send files in PDF format. If you supply files that are RGB or unspecified spot/pantone colours they will automatically be converted to CMYK, this can slightly change colours as they may appear different from what is seen on screen.

Paper Sizes and Bleeds
When supplying files, please allow a 3mm bleed on all sides of artwork. When positioning text, please allow 3mm from the edge of the finished document to allow for cutting.

Colour Reproduction
We will provide you with a colour proof copy on request, but this is not an exact colour match. We can provide a 'spot' colour service if required.
